Welcome to the Math Department
The purpose of the EVSC mathematics education program is to develop problem solving skills. In doing so, our students will gain confidence in their mathematical abilities that will enable them to advance in their studies and solve problems that they may encounter in everyday life. Students will become effective communicators and interpreters of mathematics which also prepares them to be successful in the work environment. Teachers use available technology as well as a variety of strategies and techniques to enhance the learning process. Students are encouraged to use technology as an appropriate tool to solve problems and to become lifelong learners.
